Hundreds
of Trails are at our Back Door!
|
The Village at Gallagher's Canyon is set right in
the middle of some of the most spectacular scenery
anywhere in Canada. The Canyon itself is a
geological wonder, with unique rock formations
carved over thousands of years by Mission Creek and
incredible scenery around every corner. Of course,
we take every advantage to explore this Natural
Wonder that lies in our Back Yard.

The Kettle Valley Railway
|
Explore
the Historic KVR Railways and Trestles
A
distinct chapter in Western Canadian history lies
just a few minutes from The Village. The railbed of
the Kettle Valley Railway still winds through the
incredible Okanagan Highlands. Called "the most
difficult railway in the world to build" the
Kettle Valley spanned deep mountain gorges and
tunnelled through solid rock. The Myra Canyon
stretch, with all it's trestles and tunnels now
turned into a linear park, offers exhilarating
scenery and trip back to the bygone age of steel
rails.

Winter Activities |

Tobogganing,
Downhill Skiing, Cross Country and Bonfires!
The Okanagan offers outdoor recreation in every season,
including winter. Here at the Village, we take full
advantage of our spectacular setting, with family toboggan
parties and roaring bonfires afterwards. You can also ski on
miles of spectacular cross country trails, starting from
your back door. Of course, you could also visit Big
White or Silver
Star, two world class ski resorts less than one hour
away.

Special Getaway Days |
|
The Okanagan offers an incredible variety of things to do.
We've taken trips to local wineries, chartered a houseboat
for an afternoon of fun and socialising on Okanagan Lake,
visited renowned restaurants in the Valley and even went
horseback riding at a local ranch!
